Filling

- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Ensure the thawed spinach is well squeezed to remove all moisture, then add it to the mixture. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- Assemble the pinwheels: Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving one long edge free from filling to allow sealing. Carefully roll the pastry into a tight jelly roll shape.
