Ingredients

Scale

Buffalo Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (adjust according to spice preference)

Cream Cheese Base

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 68 slices white cheese (for ghost shapes)
  • Black decorating gel or mini olives for eyes

Instructions

  1. Coat Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, toss the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until the chicken is evenly coated with the spicy sauce.
  2. Prepare Cream Cheese Base: If needed, soften the cream cheese in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds for easier spreading. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Assemble Dip Layers: Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture over the cream cheese layer and smooth it out evenly. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top of the chicken layer.
  4. Prepare Ghost Decorations: Using a ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut ghost shapes out of the white cheese slices and arrange these ghosts on top of the dip.
  5. Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and heated through.
  6. Add Eyes and Serve: Remove the dip from the oven, then use black decorating gel or mini olive pieces to dot eyes on each white cheese ghost. Serve the dip warm for best taste and presentation.

Notes

  • Adjust buffalo sauce quantity to manage heat level according to your preference.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and flavorful shredded chicken.
  • Softening the cream cheese beforehand makes spreading easier and more even.
  • Mini olives can be a tasty and edible alternative to decorating gel for ghost eyes.
  • This dip is best served warm and fresh from the oven to enjoy the gooey cheese and spicy flavors.
