Crust

  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted

Filling

  • 12 oz cream cheese, softened ( bricks)
  • 1 ¾ cups Nutella
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (10x sugar)
  • 4 cups thawed Cool Whip topping (about 12 oz)

Topping

  • Additional 4 oz Cool Whip topping
  • Reserved 1 cup pulverized Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 25 2-oz plastic shot glasses

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, pulverize the 20 Oreo cookies until they form fine crumbs.
  2. Set aside crumbs: Measure out 1 cup of the crushed Oreos and set aside for topping.
  3. Make crust mixture: Add the melted butter to the remaining Oreo crumbs in the processor and stir until well combined.
  4. Form the crust: Press about 1 teaspoon of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each 2-ounce shot glass, gently tamping down to form a firm base. Reserve leftover crumbs for garnish.
  5. Prepare Nutella filling: In a stand mixer, cream together softened cream cheese and Nutella until smooth and well combined.
  6. Add powdered sugar: Gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture, scraping down sides of the bowl as needed to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  7. Incorporate Cool Whip: On low speed, stir in 4 cups of thawed Cool Whip, pausing occasionally to scrape down the bowl to keep the mixture smooth.
  8. Add reserved Oreo crumbs: Still on low speed, fold in the reserved 1 cup of Oreo crumbs until evenly distributed.
  9. Pipe the filling: Transfer the Nutella filling into a large Ziploc bag and cut a 1-inch wide corner off to create a piping bag.
  10. Fill shooters: Pipe the Nutella filling into each prepared shot glass over the crust layer.
  11. Add topping: Spoon the additional 4 ounces of Cool Whip topping evenly over each dessert shooter.
  12. Garnish and chill: Sprinkle the remaining Oreo crumbs on top and refrigerate the shooters until ready to serve, allowing them to set and chill for best taste.
