These S’mores Protein Balls are a delicious and nutritious no-bake snack combining the nostalgic flavors of classic s’mores with the power of protein-packed ingredients. Perfect for a quick energy boost, these bite-sized treats blend oats, crushed graham crackers, almond butter, and protein powder, sweetened naturally with honey, and studded with mini chocolate chips and dehydrated marshmallows.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Oats
  • 3/4 Cup Graham Cracker (Crushed)
  • 1/2 Cup Protein Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 Cup Mini Dehydrated Marshmallows

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Almond Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare Graham Crackers: Place graham crackers in a ziplock bag and coarsely break them into smaller pieces. Measure out 3/4 cup and transfer into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Combine Base Ingredients: Add the oats, almond butter, honey, and protein powder to the large bowl. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is completely combined, forming a sticky dough.
  3. Add Chocolate Chips and Marshmallows: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and dehydrated mini marshmallows to distribute evenly without melting.
  4. Form the Balls: Scoop out approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture at a time and roll into tight balls using your hands for uniform size.
  5. Chill and Store: Place the formed balls on a tray or plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to help them firm up. After chilling, transfer the protein balls into an airtight container. Enjoy immediately or store for later snacking.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter flavor, you can increase the honey by 1 tablespoon.
  • For a vegan version, substitute honey with maple syrup and ensure the protein powder is plant-based.
  • You can replace almond butter with peanut butter or sunflower seed butter if desired.
  • Store the protein balls in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to one month.
  • Dehydrated marshmallows help maintain texture; fresh marshmallows will melt and change the consistency.
